Smart Look & Find Differences | Spot & Describe Changes | Ages 3+

299.00

Smart Look & Find Differences gives children aged 3 & up 17 sets of two large picture cards to compare, spot differences in colour, shape, size or position and describe what has changed no reading required. Builds observation, visual discrimination and verbal expression through hands-on play.

About This Product

  • SPOT THE DIFFERENCE PICTURE CARD ACTIVITY
17 sets of two large colourful cards children compare Card A to Card B and identify every difference in colour, shape, size, position or quantity.
  • OBSERVE, FIND & DESCRIBE MECHANIC
Children don’t just spot differences  they describe what has changed aloud, building precise visual vocabulary and verbal expression together.
  • NO READING REQUIRED
Fully picture-based activity accessible from age 3 children engage independently without any literacy prerequisite.
  • HOME, CLASSROOM & THERAPY USE
Supports structured visual observation and verbal description across home, school and therapy-friendly environments.
  • QUALITY, SAFETY & TRUST
Smart products are proudly made in India, conforming to BIS Safety Standards (IS 9873 – Part 1) and EN71 Part 1, 2 & 3 with European Toy Safety Standards trusted by parents and educators since 1987.

Smart Look & Find Differences is a 17-set picture card activity for children
aged 3 and up. Each set contains two large, colourfully illustrated cards
(Card A and Card B) showing the same scene with deliberate differences
children observe both cards carefully and identify every change in colour,
shape, size, position or quantity. Scenes include animals like elephants
and lions, people playing sport, dogs and more.

Because no reading is required, the activity is fully accessible from age 3.
As children find each difference, they are encouraged to describe it aloud
'the lion's cave is darker', 'the boy's ball has changed colour' turning a
visual activity into a rich verbal expression exercise.
The activity guide provides structured ways to extend the game and
introduces numbered difference targets.

Developed in association with Early Learning Consultants, this set is often
used in structured play and therapy-friendly learning settings. Parents and
teachers choose it because it trains the kind of careful, systematic visual
attention that directly improves reading, science observation and everyday
detail-noticing.

HOW CHILDREN LEARN

  • A child places Card A (elephant with children riders) beside Card B
and scans both carefully noticing the trunk position has changed,
or the colour of a child's shirt is different developing systematic
    left-to-right visual scanning.
  • Describing the difference aloud 'this elephant has a red rug but
that one doesn't' trains children to convert visual observations
into precise spoken language, building the descriptive vocabulary
that underpins reading comprehension and science.
  • The activity guide structures the task with numbered differences
on some cards (as visible on the dog set), giving children a target
number to find building concentration and the habit of not
    stopping at the first difference.
  • Differences in colour, shape, size, position and quantity expose
children to five distinct types of visual change building a complete
visual discrimination toolkit rather than a single observation skill.
  • Playing across all 17 sets animals, people, everyday scenes builds
sustained attention and the confidence to look carefully at a complex
picture rather than reacting to the most obvious feature.

  1. AN
    Fun and Educational

Really happy with this purchase. Helps reduce mobile time because the game itself is genuinely interesting. The pieces/cards are easy to hold and the printing is bright and clear.
