Description
Smart Where you See? is a 14-set, two-piece self-correcting puzzle for
children aged 5 and up. Each set contains a large, detailed scene card
showing multiple labelled objects that all belong to a specific real-world
location, and a place card naming that location. Children name every
object on the scene card elephant, monkey, flamingo, crocodile at the
zoo; blackboard, desk, books, pen at school then match the scene to its
correct place card.
The naming activity embedded in each card is as valuable as the matching
children build a rich, context-specific vocabulary as they work through each
scene, learning not just what objects are called but where they belong in the
world. The self-correcting jigsaw confirms every correct location match,
building reasoning confidence independently.
Parents and teachers choose this set because it builds the kind of structured
world knowledge that directly supports reading comprehension children
who know what belongs at a zoo, a school or a bedroom can follow stories,
instructions and explanations far more effectively. Often used in structured
play and therapy-friendly learning settings.
HOW CHILDREN LEARN
- A child picks up the zoo scene card and names every labelled animal aloud
elephant, monkey, lion, rabbit, fox, kangaroo, flamingo, crocodile
building a complete zoo animal vocabulary before making any match. - Matching the scene card to ‘At the zoo’ teaches children that objects belong
to specific contexts that flamingos and crocodiles are zoo animals, not
farm animals or pets building categorical world knowledge. - The school scene card introduces children to classroom vocabulary
blackboard, school-bag, desk, books, paint brush, pen, globe all labelled,
so children can read or be read each word while naming the item. - Working through all 14 scene-location pairs builds a structured map of
the world — zoo, school, bedroom, and more giving children the
contextual knowledge that helps them understand stories, conversations
and lessons. - The self-correcting jigsaw confirms every correct scene-location match
children develop confidence in their world knowledge reasoning without
adult checking at every step.
