Description
Creative’s World Safari Senior is a world geography trivia board game
for 2–6 players or teams aged 10 and up. A multi-coloured world map
playing board, a country-name spinner, and four question categories
combine to create a game where every turn covers a different part of
the globe. Ninety question cards across four topics carry 720 individual
questions; 35 Visual Cards test recognition of world-famous landmarks
including the Eiffel Tower, Colosseum, Taj Mahal, and Statue of Liberty.
Players spin, move around the board, and land on category symbols.
The player next to them picks a card and asks the matching question.
Correct answers move the player forward. ‘Choose Your Own Topic’
spaces let confident players pick their best category. Teams are permitted,
making the game equally suitable for family game nights and classroom
sessions.
Geography teachers use World Safari Senior for competitive revision
sessions and enrichment clubs. Families choose it because 755 questions
give it genuine replay value — children who play this game regularly leave
knowing where most countries in the world actually are.
HOW CHILDREN LEARN
- A player spins, lands on a geography symbol, and is asked ‘Dhaka city
is in what country?’ — getting it right means moving forward; getting
it wrong means sitting still and hearing the answer, which is often the
most memorable learning moment in the game. - Visual cards showing the Colosseum, the Taj Mahal, or the Eiffel Tower
- require visual recognition alongside factual recall — building the kind
- of cultural geography knowledge that connects classroom learning to
real-world images. - The ‘Choose Your Own Topic’ spaces let confident players pick their
strongest category and exploit their knowledge advantage — introducing
strategic decision-making alongside geography content. - Playing as teams means children discuss answers before responding
pooling knowledge, building confidence, and practising the kind of
collaborative reasoning that geography and history classrooms need. - Working through 755 questions across multiple sessions builds a
cumulative knowledge base: a child who has played World Safari Senior
ten times knows the geography of the world in a way no single lesson
achieves.
