Description
First Puzzles Transport is a set of four shaped jigsaw puzzles that
introduce children aged 3 and up to the four main modes of transport
through hands-on play. Each puzzle is contour-cut to the vehicle’s own
outline — Airplane in the air, Train on rails, Bus on the road and Ship
at sea — with piece counts of 4, 5, 6 and 8 that grow progressively harder.
The shaped format challenges toddlers to think about each vehicle’s
outer boundary as well as its internal pieces, building spatial reasoning
skills that go beyond what rectangular puzzles offer.
Parents and teachers choose this set because it pairs transport
awareness with real developmental skill-building and pairs naturally
with the Special Vehicles series for an extended vehicle collection.

HOW CHILDREN LEARN
- A child starts with the 4-piece Airplane puzzle, learning shaped piece
matching before moving to the more complex 8-piece Ship - Contour-cut pieces follow each vehicle’s exact outline teaching
spatial boundary awareness that rectangular puzzles simply cannot
replicate - Recognising Airplane, Train, Bus and Ship introduces children to
all four modes of transport air, rail, road and sea through play - Placing each shaped piece carefully builds fine motor control and
pincer grip at a critical stage of early hand development - Completing each transport vehicle independently builds real
confidence and an eagerness to tackle the next harder puzzle
