Creative’s Zoo Mix & Match Animal Puzzle for Ages 2½ and Up

315.00

Creative’s Zoo is a mix-and-match animal puzzle set with 10 four-piece puzzles that build visual discrimination, observation, and animal awareness in children from age 2½. It works equally well at home, in nursery classrooms, and in structured play and therapy-friendly learning settings.

About This Product

  • ANIMAL MATCHING PUZZLE VISUAL DISCRIMINATION —
10 puzzles train children to sort animal heads, tails, jaws, claws, hoofs, and horns by careful visual comparison.
  • MIX & MATCH INTERCHANGEABLE PUZZLE PIECES —
All 40 large pieces are interchangeable, letting children create hundreds of mixed-up animals beyond the 10 correct matches.
  • SCREEN-FREE HANDS-ON TODDLER PUZZLE TOY —
No batteries, no screens — children handle, rotate, and fit large pieces, building fine motor control through every attempt.
  • NURSERY CLASSROOM ANIMAL AWARENESS ACTIVITY —
Often used in structured play and therapy-friendly learning settings; supports hands-on learning across home, classroom and therapy environments.
  • QUALITY, SAFETY & TRUST —
Creative’s products are proudly made in India, conforming to BIS Safety Standards (IS 9873 – Part 1) and EN71 Part 1, 2 & 3 with European Toy Safety Standards trusted by parents and educators since 1987.

Creative’s Zoo is a set of 10 four-piece animal puzzles — 40 large,
interchangeable pieces — that teach children from age 2½ to recognise
and name zoo animals by matching heads, tails, jaws, claws, hoofs,
and horns. Unlike single-image puzzles, all pieces connect with all
others, so the activity grows well beyond its 10 correct solutions.

Children begin by assembling a correct animal, then discover they can
swap pieces to create funny new creatures. That cycle — right match,
wrong match, laughter, try again — is where observation, vocabulary,
and problem-solving all develop together. Colour, skin texture, body
shape, and animal names become part of natural conversation as they play.

Parents reach for this set because the large pieces suit young hands and
the activity holds attention far longer than a single puzzle. Teachers value
it for the animal discussions it sparks and the way it works just as well
for one child alone as for a small group.

HOW CHILDREN LEARN

  • A child picks up a tiger’s head piece and scans the other pieces
for the matching striped tail — that sustained visual search builds
    observation and focus.
  • When the assembled animal looks wrong, children self-correct without
adult prompting, practising early problem-solving confidence.
  • Mixing a zebra body with an elephant head makes children laugh
that moment of recognition shows they already know what the correct
    animal should look like.
  • Naming each animal aloud as it is completed builds spoken vocabulary:
tiger, zebra, giraffe, elephant, rhinoceros, and others.
  • Handling and placing 40 large pieces repeatedly strengthens the
pincer grip and hand-eye coordination that underpin early writing
    readiness.
