Description
Creative’s Ending Sounds is a phonics learning activity designed
to help children develop phonemic awareness, an essential step
in early reading development.
The set introduces children to the concept of ending sounds in
words, helping them identify patterns in spoken language.
Through colourful illustrations and engaging puzzle pieces, children
match words with the same ending sounds, such as box and fox.
The activity includes 15 sets of self-correcting match-up puzzles,
allowing children to visually connect pictures with their corresponding
word endings. These puzzles make it easier for children to recognise
sound similarities while building confidence in early literacy.
To reinforce learning, the set also includes double-sided wipe-clean
practice sheets, where children complete fun phonics exercises and
practice identifying ending sounds in different words.
Creative’s educational toys encourage screen-free learning through
hands-on activities, making them perfect for homes, classrooms
and structured learning environments. Such phonics-based
activities are also often used in therapy-friendly learning spaces where
structured play supports focus, communication and language development.
Through playful repetition, children gradually strengthen their listening
skills, vocabulary and early reading readiness.
